About the role

  • Provide and encompass specialist HIV and Sexual Health service clinical delivery including education, teaching, clinical governance, quality assurance, supervision, research, and professional development
  • Provision of high quality evidence-based care to patients over a range of HIV and sexual health management as a part of multi-disciplinary team to provide patient centred care with clear health outcomes
  • The Sexual Health and HIV Service is spread over multiple sites within Metro North including the Biala (Brisbane City), Redcliffe Community Health Centres and an outreach clinic in Caboolture
  • More locations within Metro North may become part of the service in the future and the role may require attendance at these sites
  • The Physician will participate in teaching and education of other members of the multidisciplinary team and trainees, the development of evidence-based guidelines, service development and models of care, collaboration and engagement with stakeholders and consumers. Additionally, research and to provide research supervision are parts of role.

Experience in Public Health Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Gender Medicine, Dermatology, Adolescent and Youth Medicine, Reproductive Health, Sexual Counselling, Health Education, Epidemiology, and Computer Literacy
